electric gauges are less accurate than mechanical because with elec you have 2 variances the gauge and the sending unit with mech. you just have the gauge variance also use a quality gauge autometer , stewart warner and never use that plastic oil line . use copper tubing and i slide a vacuum line over it before installation

Looks awesome! About the blue on those tires, im sure you know it will just wash off eventually, but what i do to keep em pearly white, is every season i use some red scotch brite, and wet sand those letters gently to bring the white back to brand new condition. Awesome work as always!

7:47 STOP!! If installing a new hub axle bearing, just back out the 3 hub bolts and hammer them from behind. This will drive the whole assembly out off the knuckle. Source junkyard or new bolts if you will reuse the old assembly.

Great video! I got the 2 piece BOP seal and about to the same.. I just have one concern.. Filling the anti-rotation wholes with silicon wouldn't it make it hard to remove and replace the seal the next time without taking the crank off?

    • @Oldsmob455

@@Oldsmob455 yeah, I saw in another video that the sealer needs to be used on the 3.25 main blocks but not in the 3 inch blocks (like my 400) so I may not need to use it. I haven't gotten the seal yet so I haven't been able to go through the instructions myself

Nice video, thanks. But not everyone has an Oxy-torch and Mig welder handy. With all of that heat the caliper seals are ruined for sure. If you're doing this for a customer, the labor will cost more than replacing the caliper!
